Transit

Transit users are in luck – the Zoo C-train station is a short walk away, and the popular #1 Bowness – Forest Lawn bus route runs directly through the community. While you can walk to downtown (if you have a decent chunk of time on your hands), you’re better off taking advantage of Calgary’s downtown cycle track. Finally, easy access to both Blackfoot Trail and Deerfoot Trail allow you to make your way across the city come crunch time.

It’s Friday afternoon and you’re home early from work. What better way to take advantage than some time spent in the sun? Walk the paths along the river, or do some bird watching at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. After you’ve worked up an appetite, dine out at one of the best restaurants in the city.
