Beddington Heights (formerly known as Beddington) is a north Calgary (formerly known as northwest Calgary) community that features single family homes, duplexes, and townhomes for sale, with the majority of properties being single family houses. Nose Hill Park is one of the largest urban parks in Canada – you’re just a short hike from getting away from all of the stressors of your day to day life. If you don’t have time for a full hike, Nose Creek Parkway, Beacham Park, and a handful of other green spaces are waiting for you. There’s a skating rink, outdoor play fields, and the community offers fitness programs, child care, and dance options to its residents. Other amenities include a strip mall with a handful of restaurants and grocery stores, and both Beddington Heights Elementary School and St. Bede Elementary School service the area.

 

Transit

When you’re traveling from one end of the city to the other, Deerfoot Trail is the route to take. Live in this community and you’ll have direct access Deerfoot, so no matter where you work, you can get there quickly. Speaking of getting places quickly, live here and you’re a fifteen minute drive from the airport. If you don’t feel like driving, there are plenty of bus routes that can get you where you need to go, including the #46 Beddington.

It’s a sunny Friday afternoon and you’re off work early. You want to get out of the city – or at least feel like you’re getting out of the city. Well then, it’s time to tie up your hiking boots and start exploring the traveled trails of Nose Hill Park.
