Coral Springs is a northeast Calgary community that features an array of single-family homes, townhouses, and luxury homes and estates for sale, with the vast majority of properties being single-family houses. One of the unique things about this Calgary neighbourhood is that it’s been designed based on a California theme. Essentially, there’s a large lake at the centre of the community, with pathways leading from various parts of the neighborhood to this lake. Coral Springs is bounded by 64th Avenue NE on the north, Stoney Trail on the east, McKnight Boulevard on the south, and 68th Street on the west.

The laid back California life comes to Canada in the form of Coral Springs. Put on your board shorts, stroll through the neighborhood and you’ll encounter several green spaces and a community pathway that connects everyone to the lake in the center. The community association offers several sports programs, and as for shopping – well, you’re likely taking a trip out of the neighborhood for that.

 

Schools in the area include Grant MacEwan Elementary School and Falconridge School.

 

Transit

Stoney Trail is by far the fastest route along Calgary’s eastern edge, and McKnight Boulevard connects you directly to Deerfoot Trail. Proximity to the Calgary Airport is a plus for frequent travelers, and the Saddletowne C-train station is a short drive (or long walk) away. The #21 Castleridge and #25 Whitehorn are among the numerous bus lines that serve the community.

 

Lifestyle

Walk around Coral Springs on a summer day and it feels like you should be listening to the Beach Boys – or perhaps the Red Hot Chili Peppers. This community’s California design will make you feel like you’re living on the Golden Coast – at least until it snows.
