While you’ll find a handful of small strip malls, expect to go outside the community for your bigger shopping trips – McKenzie Towne seems like a likely bet.

 

St. Isabella Elementary and Junior High School and McKenzie Towne School both serve this Calgary neighbourhood.

 

Transit

As you’d expect from living in the deep southeast, you’re not within walking distance to any C-train station. Instead, you’re relying on buses, including the #92 McKenzie Towne bus line. For drivers, the good news is that you’re close to both Deerfoot Trail and Stoney Trail, both of which offer great access to the north end of the city. And if you’re a nurse or doctor? Good news! The South Health Campus is a very short drive away.
